The term Wangara appears in sources describing commercial movement, scholarship and Islamic connections across West Africa. These networks connect markets and communities, but a historical connection is not automatically kinship. The museum compares sources, places and chronologies, then names what remains a hypothesis. Merchants, scholars, religious authorities and families are described through the documented relationships of each record. This method makes it possible to narrate a connected world without manufacturing a single genealogy.
